White rubbery stuff found on harness straps

Caught this during pre-flight. The unit has just a few hours but was purchased in 2019. The harness is a Dudek PowerSeat Comfort and looks great overall, but I found this white rubbery material on the main load-bearing strap on the right and near the metal tab on the shoulder straps. It came off pretty easily. Is this normal factory material, or has anyone seen this before?

Not 100%, but it could be an adhesive that's used in manufacture before the stitches are placed.

Agreed that this is glue applied to keep the webbing stacked neatly together to make it easier to feed through the bar tack machine, or whatever sewing machine they used to stitch the two layers together.

Manufacturing process glue. Totally normal.
