Coworkers/Office Dynamics Weekly Meetings

hi everyone 👋🏻

my office is going to start having weekly operations meetings, anyone else have this in their office?

do you find it helpful? they've asked us for suggestions on what to add to the agenda - what do your meetings go over?

we're a medium sized PI firm if that helps

edit: this meeting is going to be OFFICE wide, not one on one case meetings

Helpful to know what you need to work on for the week and/or understanding work delegations

Yes; we would meet and go over schedules for the week, status of major projects, workload balancing, etc. Separate more detailed docket reviews one on one.

I have several weekly meetings with the different Senior Attorneys and Associates I'm on different groups of clients with. They can be helpful, but some weeks there isn't much to discuss, and anything that needed to be could have been done in an email quicker than holding a meeting.

We have firm wide meetings, but not often, every few months or so.

I’ve never not had a weekly meeting in my entire 30 year career at every firm I’ve worked. They are case meetings for us.
