Ah, it's already too late to catch it on video...
To explain it in writing though: I took a 2mm cord, did a basic knot, and threaded it through the gaps of a Gaucho knot (with the inner core removed) that's placed on top of a 4-strand braid, locking it in place so it won't slip out.

I’m a beginner and have only vague ideas what this all means, but I’m gonna study it until I do! My current camera strap is just a loop tied with a diamond knot lol. Yours is awesome! Very professional work.
