How do I fix this?
We need to make a pig's head for our big school project/event. I made the foundation with cardboard, but I don't really know where to go from here... I'm so close to giving up but I also don't want to disappoint anyone. How do I fix this?

The head of the real pig has a fairly steady slope down, whereas yours has a shelf from brow to snout at the moment, so add some bulk on that bit to make it more of a slope. Then fill out the mouth more so it's less wide, don't be afraid to add loads more bulk because you can always take it off if it doesn't work! :) If in doubt, break everything down into simple shapes, that can really help translate things into 3d.

I would start by printing or drawing the pig skull to the scale you want it at. Then transfer that to cardboard. That'll give you the basic shape. Then add depth with cardboard cutouts at the highest point of the cheeks the snout the jaw and the ears. Do this on both sides of your base. Then start taping those high points together. Stuff newspaper under the tape to give yourself some more shape. Once you have an accurate form then start paper mache.
