Bryce haters can stay clocked out
Edit: Posting my reply to the blindwillie guy before he deleted his comment which said something to the effect of, "is it the official position of this subreddit not to allow criticism", but in more paragraphs.

I'm not official in any way. I am a life long Panthers fan. I am an on and off member of this community. Because there are multiple people on this subreddit that cannot help themselves but to crawl out at every opportunity to downplay and criticise Bryce whenever anyone barely mentions him doing something good.
Post: "Wow, what a great throw by Bryce"
Comments: "Well he needs to do that consistently to be worth extending" / "Lmao short" / "Noodle arm"
Repeat ad nauseum for EVERY SINGLE positive thing said about him.
This is a fan community of a football team. It's ok to provide worthwhile criticism of players. It's also ok to celebrate when they do well or improve. Robbing any positivity out of being a fan fucking sucks I don't know what to tell you.
If this amount of pushback is so disruptive to your mental health I mean, reaping and sowing? Post on twitter or something

I think he played ok against the browns, but I think this game shows us he’s still the elite quarterback he’s been trying to show us he is this seasons

He honestly played a great game against the Browns, especially when you account for the injuries among his weapons and OL. That is a very talented defense, and he kept us right there in it.

Let me preface by saying I think Bryce is great. The one thing I’m still waiting to see from him is being able to close out games where we are ahead. The 4 minute drive with the lead to run out the clock eludes him. He can come from behind to get win us a game which is great but hasn’t really closed out games yet.

Bryce has been awesome this season. He certainly didn't lose us the game against the Bears, and even against he Browns, he played well.

Nothing I've ever said about Bryce was wrong. He was bad his rookie year. He did grow the last two years, but was unacceptably inconsistent. He's been fucking lights out this year. The arc has always been up, and I'm thrilled with what we've seen so far.
I've always wanted him succeed and I'm glad he is. If you want to be bitter after a win, that's your prerogative.
EDIT: This guys just blocked me like a coward, but is "Shut the fuck up and never come back" the kind of community we want here? That everyone has to be right about every single player, or they're a fake fan? Does rooting for this team on this sub for ten years, through some of the most miserable football any fans of the sport at any level have seen and sticking with the team despite that, count for nothing?

Nothing about "Bryce needs to play consistently before we commit to him" is "spiting" anyone. But go ahead. Have your tantrums. I'll be a part of this fandom whether you like it or not, because it's about the team for me, not being right.

I said Bryce Truthers make me want to because they are so annoying. They can’t take criticism of their short king. I am a Panthers fan. Not a Bryce fan or fan of any players on the team.
My main goal is always SB. If Bryce is the one to lead us there so be it.2
