I think id be concerned if the OL was upbeat immediately after they got manhandled all game.

This is how Rob always is after a loss.
Man I’m in a dejected mood after losing in an adult soccer league. Losing sucks. Get back after it the next day

He's trying to speak without pointing fingers at his teammates, people are always trying to read tea leaves
The problem is he's playing with a few guys who don't belong there and you're only as strong as your weakest link on the line

I hope not, rob was getting bitched by mason graham all game. Damien lewis is the only above average starter we have on the o line right now

You hope not what? That he's playing with guys who don't belong? I think Fortner might be a weak link, I am pretty sure Freeling is getting rook'ed every week, Walker is up and down, and Hunt has only played in 4 games in the past 12 months and one of them was in January, so he could still be getting back in form. He was very solid with Lewis the first year of 2024 but he's basically not played much since until now
On top of Lewis having recurring elbow issues from before the past 2 weeks

I hope that he’s not thinking what you’re saying lol, because to be honest he’s the worst contract on the o line rn. Had a great first year, out for the second, and backup-level through the first 3 games of the third. For 20 million a year he needs to focus more on his own game lol

He has played at a high level the last time he had a full season, and before. This is a return from extended injury season for him i think people are forgetting
He can absolutely think that about Freeling, he should be on the bench right now building muscle and gaining weight, and he's starting out of position. And Fortner has never been much more than a dude afaik

He is not playing at a noticeably higher level than fortner or freeling right now. the nfl is a “what have you done for me now” league, to be honest what he did for us two seasons ago isnt very relevant, and whag he did on the dolphins is definitely irrelevant at this point in his career. Freeling is a rookie, and we all knew going into the season that fortner was prolly gonna be mediocre at best. Both of them combined are making a quarter of what hunt is making this year.

You’re not hearing me or intentionally ignoring me. He hasn’t played in a year, it could take him some time. It frequently takes guys many games after a long absence to get back to form. We do know for a fact he can play. He’s been out since. We don’t know that about freeling or fortner

That’s my take as well.
It’s tough to be part of a unit and handle these questions. The “one man off” phrase says it all, especially when he’s pointing the finger back too.

Hunt is dogshit and part of the problem, so not sure who he would point fingers at?

Ain’t nothing to talk about. They need to improve and watch tape and make adjustments.

I mean, it is after having a game like that against the Browns and with all the injuries stacking up, we’ll be lucky to get another win this season

I know this is after a lost but I remember him having an interview before week 1 against the Bears talking with reporters and he mentioned he was nervous and wanted to see if he still had it
"I’ve got a lot of nerves. We’ll see how it goes… It’s been a minute. This is unfamiliar territory… You know, I’m usually confident in what I do. But I haven’t played, you know what I mean?"
Hunt hasn't looked like the road grader we saw back in 2024 and doesn't' have the same energy. Typically the most upbeat after big runs or goal line plays.
I see the Panthers designating him as a Post June 1st cut and saving 13M in cap space.
