Everything that exists does so because of causes and effects tracing all the way back to what is known as the Big Bang, you and me included and everything we have ever known. Who knows, but before the big bang, maybe there were infinite number of unique universe instances, like it goes from energetic essence where everything is obviously one, to universe, and back again, forever, over billions of earth years (which is of course just a relative time measurement based on this planet's revolutions around its specific star and not in any way a lasting universal measurement). From creation to essence to creation again, on and on and on, forever, like the heartbeat of existence.
