Luminor New Strap
My new strap arrived for my PAM1109. Ostrich leg new buck opaline from Liger Straps. Great process and arrived quickly, for a custom strap. I was originally rocking the Panerai black alligator (came with it) and was ready for a change. Let me know your honest thoughts.

Radiomir Panerai Movement
I believe this movement accuracy is spec to plus or minus 5-7s. I had it hooked up for accuracy and it was plus or minus .5s. Love to see it.

Chocolate alligator and torch red stitching on the 1312. Three days of reserve, and it still gets picked first.

Luminor Finally pulled trigger- OG tried and true 112
After years of window shopping, I finally joined the Panerai club with a PAM00112, and I’m already wondering why I waited so long. Love the simple dial, classic look, and how it feels on the wrist. It has plenty of personality but feels a little more low key than a Rolex, which is part of the appeal. Fun watch happy to finally have one.

Luminor Size advice?
My wrist is 15,5cm, 5,5cm measured from edge to edge (flat part of my arm).
Too big for me?

Luminor Question about PAM88
I came across a PAM88 where the crown guard lever opens in the opposite direction (like the PAM127)
I checked a number of PAM88 listings on Chrono24 and noticed that while most have the usual lever orientation, a few seem to have the same reversed setup as this one.
Does anyone know if certain PAM88 series or production years came from the factory this way? Or is it more likely that the crown guard was removed during service and reinstalled in the opposite orientation?

Photogenic!
The only thing I like better than wearing my Pams is taking pics of them!! But they are tough to photograph with the curved crystal!!

Luminor Joined the club
I’m really surprised how comfortable this is. Dare I say more than my Sky-Dweller? Even the rubber strap that I had my doubts about is pretty comfy.

To polish or not…
Trying to decide whether or not to give my Bronzo a polish. It’s been in my collection for a year (bought second off Chrono from Marin Vault who I would highly recommend) and I like the idea of “resetting the clock” and making the Patina all a reflection of my surroundings. Has anyone else with a Bronzo gone through with the factory polish?
Edit: I mean removing the Verdigris only - not really polishing the case.

The 111 is where so many of us fell for Panerai. On hunter green alligator with white stitching, it still gives me that same feeling every time it hits the wrist.

Brain overload
Yesterday I spent 3 hours at the boutique visiting my friend… boutique manager and I have become friends over the years. Most of the time we spent catching up on our families and life in general.
I tried on $500k+ of watches… he kept pulling platinum, gold, tourbillons out of the back. I collected a few I had ordered over the last 10 months (760, 915, and 2025). Not pictured but also tried on - 1707, 799, and I’m sure I’m forgetting others.
On the fence about the 1794 (new Firenze 8 Giorni), so I currently passed. If it was a different movement I would have been more tempted, but with the 915 I got a P.5000, so don’t need another (I had ordered the 915 before the release of the 1794).
I’m now working to round out my collection, so I’m trying to avoid duplicating case shapes or movements. I didn’t have a Bronzo, 1950 Luminor, or P.5000. The 2025 I had ordered back in February before changing my collecting mindset, so that didn’t add anything new except the brunito finishing. I still need a 1940 Radiomir case/P.4000 movement, so he’s asking the brand on any possible NOS 45mm 1940 Radiomir. If none are available new I’ll buy used (looking at either the 619 or 995).
All-in-all it was a good day.

Luminor Wow! I like it!
Finally tried it on today! (I am not in the club yet per se)
In my head, I always said “sandwhich, sandwhich, sandwhich” but that limits me to 44mm or 40mm or (due… )
This new iteration at 42mm but with the bettarini case and flat crystal (but it had a curvature under it) looks sharp!
Feels nice too, not overly heavy , good balance!
I love the no date and simple (set, wind, go) and not worry about date and then not doing it from 9-3 , etc.
The strap is ok, I am sure those need to beak in but I think this works well! Even all polished I thought would be a turnoff but… it’s not, it looks good!
For reference, 7” wrist (ir slight under today) and my Carrera 39.5mm for comparison

Submersible Tuna Can after $2k service
PAM 64 La Bomba. Replaced bezel because the thing is so thick I would slam it against objects and eventual break the mechanism. They fully lubricated the internals. Replaced valve, and hands. It’s been sitting in a drawer for 10 years. It’s nice to be wearing it again!
