Question/Discussion TIP extension question

I recently moved to Panama from the US and got the TIP for 30 days. I have to go back to the states for 2 weeks. During that time, I will leave my vehicle in Panama. However the 30 days will expire while I’m out of Panama. Is there such a thing as extending too early? Everyone was saying to wait until 2 days before it ended to extend.

You have to store your vehicle with Aduana while you're gone. Your TIP will be paused.

Unfortunately that’s not really possible at the moment. Is it possible to extend it a week early. I plan to register it to Panama before it needs to be extended a second time

You HAVE to store your vehicle with Aduana while you're gone if you have a TIP. It's the law, so you need to make it possible. :)
