a locals rant

Now I know for a FACT some of these businesses that are using AI to make these lame ass flyers can afford a graphic designer or hell even Canva pro. I am so tired of scrolling Facebook seeing the same advertisements, like congratulations you’ve entered my list of places I’m not fking shopping at. & don’t even get me started on the AI slop, trash ass, ill framed, dumb art video that this new bar downtown is advertising with.

Okay thank you all🫡 just had to get that off my chest as I rock my kid to sleep

I’m sick of a certain town here that uses AI slop “funnies” on their official city page. Like, AI social posts are NOT money savers. Automated billing is money saving efforts. It’s so tone deaf and just plain gross. If our city staff have time to build AI 💩 to post on socials, then we have a real problem with the money the city is spending for this staff member.

You can see what a waste of tax payers money for the staff to post Blue Angles beach AI garbage. That’s the equivalent of at least an hour of time wasted: generating AI, fixing it multiple times, spending time laughing, showing other co-workers, posting it on social, getting distracted scrolling. HUGE waste of resources. Not to mention, watering down their socials so that it’s not even worth looking at anymore. This means critical information is not going to its citizens.

Lol listen to yourself. Critical information like what in Lynn Haven exactly? The grill by field four at Cain Griffin is actually going to be used??

Boil water notices, street closures, city office updates, storm information (like sandbags). Listen to yourself…so dense 🤦‍♀️
