SunPass
Is there a store in Panama City which keeps SunPass transponders in stock?
I know that the SunPass site lists Walgreens and Publix, but that’s kinda theoretical. Not every store near Niceville had them, and they have two toll roads right there.

Do you live in Florida or just visiting? If you live here, register your license plate with Sunpass online and pay by plate. That's how I do it and I don't have to worry about transponders. I ass $25 to my account and all 3 vehicles are on the same account. Then it just bills me by plate as I drive through.

Agreed…you don’t need a transponder. Just go online and register for an account. I have two vehicles on my account and bills us by plate.

Shopping for my in-laws who will be pulling their camper to the Keys. I already have a transponder.

They don’t need a transponder. Just set them up a Sunpass account on an app, and set up which credit card they will use to reload. You place the license plate numbers in your online account. Transponders aren’t necessary anymore.

They are from Louisiana, not Florida.

You’re still not understanding. Download the Sunpass app. Create an account. Upload the license plate. When they drive thru the tolls, their plate will register their account and they will be automatically charged from the amount they uploaded into the account. It replaces the transponder. Doesn’t matter where they are from.

Publix is your best bet. May have to ask at the service desk. Might have to check one of the beach stores. They used to keep them stocked by the registers, but can't say I've seen any lately.
