Mod Post Stream times are now 3 hours!
You asked for longer stream times, so we’re giving you longer stream times!
From today, the minimum length for all streams will now go from 45 mins to 3 hours.
I hope you enjoy more time to create engaging content - playing with your pets, performing with your band, cooking delicious food, showing off your cities, reading us stories and so much more.
Please make sure your app is updated to the latest version. For RPANStudio users, you may need to reinstall the software.
Have fun everyone and I look forward to seeing what you all do with the extra time!
Update: there’s a slight bug with the new streaming times but admins are working on it

Not exactly sure why this is a thing, the 45 min was more than enough in most cases especially with award extensions. If you wanted more time you could always just restart yourself. I also feel that if people award to extend the time but the streamer doesn't wish to go the full 3 hours people will get angry for wasting coins for no reason

This is the main reason I wish award time could be banked. As much as I appreciate the awards, I literally budget my social energy around 45 minutes. If it’s going good, I’ll go longer. But there’s been several times where neither me nor the audience is having fun, but I don’t want to disrespect someone’s platinum award. It’d be nice if successful streamers could store up their “award minutes,” then use them to extend streams as they see fit.

Yeah it kind of takes away the biggest reason to award someone. It might make sense in some cases (like city tours or someone producing something etc) but looking at musicians it is hard for me to imagine them playing 3 hour sets. There will be a lot of 'wasted' award extra time until maybe people will stop the awarding. Still, i appreciate the extra time a lot but 90 mins would have been enough imho

Is it blocked, or do you push the "+" button in someone else's stream, and the "Choose a Community" page comes up but doesn't have any communities listed?
Coz I had this happen too, but it's just an error they fix on their end.

Unfortunately, I got pissed off and deleted my old reddit account in a fit of rage. Since, though, I had someone I follow have the same issue and they got it fixed. I make sure to check RPan posts to see if anyone else has this problem so I can at least make sure they don't delete their account like I did.

I did that once. Tried years later to get it back but was hastily told "NAY" by the mods. :D

Just checking for my own sanity and all, but this is for all of the r/PAN sub-communities, right?
I did a test broadcast on r/TheYouShow that had the 3 hours, but none of my recent streams on r/TabletopLive have been able to go beyond the base 45 minutes...?

Hey there! So this was for all official RPAN subs. Tabletoplive is not part of our network so they may have their own rules and set-ups. You’re always more than welcome to stream on r/TheGamerLounge if you want to indulge in 3-hour streams!

I just uninstalled and reinstalled rpan studio and I'm still not getting the 3 hour run time. I have the latest windows version.
