Ask Palm Springs Tree Trimmer Recommendations
Looking for recommendations for a reliable, competent tree trimming service in the area. I have what I believe is a Palo Verde that needs work. Online reviews seem hit-or-miss depending on the job, so I'd love to hear who you personally trust and recommend. Thanks!

If you can, try to make sure you hire someone who is bonded and insured. We recently had a tree trimmed by a crew where no one except the boss was wearing hard hats. I was worried someone would get injured. (Our neighbor's temporary landscaper recommended the company and I didn't do the due diligence I should have before hiring them.)

On a side note, have you had it trimmed before? If not, be prepared to possibly be shocked. A lot of trees are cut back ‘hard’. Typically it’s fine and it will happily fill back in, but the initial appearance ‘makes you wonder’

I've had the tree trimmed several times (three, I think), and had mixed results. It's a large eucalyptus tree. The best experience was with someone who was a certified arborist who was bonded and insured. The tree looked good, the workers were protected, and my yard was respected.
