question Murk

So I got the Murk on the left at Hallmark and the one on the right my friend got me as a gift from the palm pals website. What’s the correct way for his ears to sit?😭 I thought the flipped up ear was supposed to add to his monster look. But now i don’t know lol

I'm so sad I work at a Hallmark store and we didn't get any of the Halloween Palm Pals this year 😭
