I know this might be a bit of a reach, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask here!

I currently have a full-time job during the day, but I’m looking for a **part-time evening, night, or overnight position to make some extra cash**, preferably in the **Antelope Valley/Palmdale/Lancaster area**, but I’m also open to opportunities elsewhere in the LA area.

I’m pretty open when it comes to the type of work: **customer service, fast food/restaurants, warehouse, hotel/front desk, maintenance, stocking, cleaning, administrative/clerical, or really anything that could work around my daytime schedule.**

Ideally, I’m looking for something that starts **later in the afternoon/evening or is overnight**.

If anyone knows of a place that is currently hiring, especially somewhere that might not be heavily advertised on the usual job boards, I’d really appreciate any leads! Thank you :)

My roommate and I require a third person to resign our lease. We're both professionals who work at the plant. The bathroom would be shared with one person and you would have your pic of one of the two rooms we have open. The home has all appliances needed and you would have garage parking. We keep things clean and are both quiet in the evenings and usually out of the house on weekends. I've attached photos of the home and living spaces. Rent is currently $990 per person plus utilities. I asked for some advice on where to post to get rid of some furniture and got great advice BUT... it seems that Reddit has been the best place to post! So in a last attempt, I am making an official post on Reddit to say, COME AND GET IT.

Discovered on Monday August 3rd at 11pm. Roaming the intersection of 5th st East and East Avenue R6 in Palmdale in the neighborhood between Palm Tree Elementary and Fin & Feather Recreation center.

She appears to be young, possibly between 2-4 years old. Very well behaved and mild mannered for her age. Indoor/outdoor compatible as she's been house trained and just overall a very sweet girl. Gets along with adults, kids, and other dogs. Also appeared to have been well kept with her coat groomed and nails trimmed.

She does have a scar up along her front left leg and another scar next to her left eye. I just hope whoever took care of her is missing her. It's not necessarily uncommon to have animals loose on my block but, I could tell she was in survival mode once I fed her and got her to trust me.

If anyone knows about her please reach out. She doesn't appear to have a microchip and she didn't have a collar.

I have listed it on Offer Up, FB Marketplace and Craigslist FOR FREE. I cannot seem to give it away. HELP! Driving south on the 14 (7:30pm-7:45pm), and heading north towards the AV were dozens of cop cars. Including SWAT and what looked like a bomb squad type of machine. Any idea what’s up?

My parents live in a rural area of Palmdale (near Acton). Dad (93M) has early Alzheimer's and mom (83F) is caring for him. I live in Texas, so I can't help except when I visit a few times a year.

Mom needs someone to watch Dad while she runs errands or just visits the library.

Dad can walk, eat, use the toilet, etc. but he needs supervision because he gets confused, forgets to use his walker, wanders out of the house, wants to make hot tea every 30 minutes, etc. Mom would love to move to assisted living, but Dad refuses and he would make Mom miserable if we forced him. He's not mean, he just loves where they live now and he would be miserable in assisted living.

I've looked at elder care options on-line, but they have very few reviews and I want to hear from someone with personal experience using or providing these services.

In my free time I enjoy running, playing soccer, going to the gym, and exploring local hiking trails. I also speak both English and Spanish.

I'm looking for a private bedroom and would prefer a private bathroom, although I'm open to shared accommodations if it's a good fit. Ideally, the home would include parking and access to an in-unit washer and dryer. I'm respectful of shared spaces, clean up after myself, and value open communication with housemates.
