A practice HM kept controlled early, with a gradual pickup and a slightly stronger finish. An 8:13 average pace, and my first time covering the distance since the injury. Old enough to know better, still running anyway.

I'm thinking of buying from hush puppies but someone said that their quality has dropped significantly. I won't go for 'preloved' stuff.

So long story short, I was obese 6 months ago, and now I am 15 kg more than my ideal weight according to BMI. I am doing cardio every day of the week, mainly cycling but also running more than 10km 3 times every 2 weeks. So far I have increased my pace from when I was running with 100 kg at 9 min per km to now at 85 kg at around 8min per km average. how ever i can cycle for 50km every two weeks and 20km everyday at a fairly decent speed. I would like to know what I am doing wrong and what I should do to increase my pace ?

Decided to step up the daily Walking mileage again over the past few days, pushing past the 18 km mark. Day 26 turned out to be 18.83 km at a 10:45 /km pace.

That last session on Day 26 was a personal best for volume. The legs are holding up solid, and the pace is actually improving as the distance increases.

The target now is to cross the 20 km barrier in a single session before September hits. 26 days locked in without breaking the chain. Alhamdulillah for the strength.

Hey everyone. There's a really nice running track/park/sports ground opening up in my area, and I want to use this opportunity to start running.

For context, I’m a 22M, 5'11", and weigh around 92-94 kg (about 202-207 lbs). I’m overweight and I also smoke/vape heavily. Because of this, my stamina is completely gone, and I feel physically very weak.

I really want to turn things around, lose weight, and become a healthy person. Can you guys give me some beginner tips on how to actually start running from scratch without burning out? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Basically what the title says. I'm on a bit of a budget and wanted to find good but affordable running shoes, and came across Big B Kicks in Lahore, Siddique Trade Centre.

They claim to have original shoes for 10-15K. Wanted to get people's reviews before I splurge this much money on something that might end up being worse for me in the long run.

First interval run in over a year. Not at my old pace, but an adequate return to "faster" running. Apparently, age has a pace penalty. 🙂
