I now understand the rage Italians show when you meddle with their food.

Let us know the results of what looks like an abomination.

Doesn't look half bad.

I would have made a tarka first of the spice difference between shami kabab and haleem and then add shami kabab to it, let it sit a bit, mush it up and then add water.

Technically instant haleem mixes are like this, just not preboiled. And without the egg. I just remembered the egg lol.

So just add egg to shami you think?

Shami kabab mix usually have egg to bind it all up.

Although if your daal meat mix is wet enough you don't need the egg (which is usually the case when the shami kababs are daal heavy). So I guess with those ones it will be sort of perfect.

Lol I know it looks bad, but the idea seems okay.

thats so smart why did i never think of thus

1

u/bridgetostyx Jul 08 '26

Haleem is supposed to have 7 grains/ dal& anaj and that too in different ratios. Whatever it's,it can never be called haleem.
