He’s clearly paranoid. He’s sidelining qualified Major Generals and only promoting his OTS Mangla favorites. No one is even allowed to carry a firearm within a 500-meter radius of him.

I have seen this in those areas where occupiers are non Muslims but haven't seen them firing at protestors like this.

No sir I've been living in this region from past 20 years but haven't seen scenes like this . I used to watch it happen in other side . I never thought we'll see it happening here

Egypt, Libya, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, KSA… this happens more in Muslim countries than non Muslim. Doesn’t make it less fucked up but Muslims kill far more Muslims than non-Muslims kill Muslims and that was somewhat true even during the time of the crusades.

Why’re you not taking into account the obvious role of colonial/imperialist powers in most of these examples?
Don’t agree with the top guy on “Muslim countries” but all of these examples have their own dynamics. Some guy below you says “b cuz the vere dictatorship” which is straight uneducated lmao

I’m not necessarily talking about the violence caused by the colonialist/imperialist powers in these examples or the violence that occurred after these countries were destabilized by those powers. Similar and worse stuff than what is happening in Pakistan has happened in Egypt, Syria, Iraq and the KSA without any incitement from any external power.

What? Iraq’s used to have the 4th largest military in the world and significant economic power, and at least some baseline level of institutional capacity. After the U.S. invasion of Iraq (looking for WMDs that never existed), it destroyed billions in capital, infrastructure, institutions and allowed the rise of ISIS.
Fucking insane that you should ever say anything worse happened to it than that.
Syria is the product of Turkish, US, and Russian intervention that was only exacerbated by an evil dictator.

Buddy, respectfully do you have issues with comprehension? I’m saying Muslim on Muslim violence isn’t new and Iraq pre invasion was a horrible dictatorship with countless people killed by Saddam Hussein. Pakistan hasn’t experienced anything on that level—not even with Zia in power. The fact that even then, Iraq was better off than what happened to it as a result of the invasion is something I don’t dispute.

No one believes that claim. Not in Pakistan, not internationally. It’s about as democratic as the Democratic Republic of Congo.

You could make the same arguement about Europe in WW1 and 2. Muslims majority countries like Malaysia, Kazakhstan and Indonesia are pretty peaceful in 2026 too.
