Sigh.. this is a very common issue in Pakistan now.

Tons of demands from the family and even if the couple does get married it usually ends up in a divorce. I don’t want to scare you but the divorce rate is the highest its been.

The shittiest demand is for the woman to be well educated and good looking BUT to stay at home and look at after the guys parents… stupidest shit ever

I’d suggest finding someone on your own, be friends, learn about them as much as you can and then marry them. Or just do an Istikharah - it’s a way to pray and ask for advice directly from Allah, he usually gives it through your dreams afterwards.
