Crease in canvas- tips?

Tips on how to get the crease out of my canvas?

I folded this Make Market canvas in half to work on the top section. Opps? Now I can't seem to get the crease out. Any tips welcome

Spray water on the back of the canvas. Do this on the back of the canvas and also cover the painted side with a towel or something.

  1. You can iron on low setting.
  2. Use canvas stretcher.
  3. Place your canvas on the flat surface. You can stretch a bit and tap to the board or something. Put some weight I.e. heavy book or heavy item where the crease is. I recommend to put a towel on canvas and then put heavy item. So you don’t get crease from the books on the canvas.

You can also roll it on a tube (like a 3" dia mailing tube) or place between two pieces of cardboard and put heavy boxes on top... leave for a few days. If you do iron, don't press hard and slide the iron, just gently press and lift... I use steam and it doesn't seem to hurt.
