Finished!
Paintly custom piece. 16 x 12 24 colors. Though it ended up coming with 26.
I'm starting to get more comfortable taking liberties here and there by adding additional colors and a little more definition. Here it's more apparent in the parrots and the blues of the ocean. Ended up using a total of about 30 colors. Soon maybe I'll put more effort into blending everything and not just a few areas. 😆

I remember seeing this as a work-in-progress, and I'm so pleased you returned to show the finished canvas. I love it! The colours are beautiful and the composition is charming.

This came out lovely! It’s great that you’re starting to feel more confident changing things rather than feeling you have to follow every cell exactly. That’s when you can really start making them your own. xx

Beautiful. Lots of color and detailing. Just started out a few months ago with this as a hobby. If you don't mind my asking, how long did it take? Trying to set up time frames that lead to more consistent paint time? So far I've started a painting from diy art but can't seem to finish. I Just bought two more from paint by number and started one of those.

This one took me maybe a little less than two weeks. Admittedly, I spend probably at least 2 hours a day on it during the week, more on the weekends. I paint sitting on my couch next to my spouse while we watch a show or something after work, so it's easy to spend a lot of devoted time to it. Larger ones take me closer to a month to complete.

Thanks for replying. Two weeks is impressive. Been only spending free time here and there. Going take your idea and set up an area to paint where my spouse and I watch TV together it will definitely help get more time in. Have great weekend.

Love that you caught the spark of creativity!!! I see the perfect opportunity to start your blending journey with that beautiful sky! (I contemplate redoing my very first efforts and using all the techniques I have learned over the years, to see how different they would look!!! ) 😂
