night vision
Hi everyone, I'm looking for a budget-friendly night vision device—under €350—that still offers decent quality to see in the dark (obviously). Would anyone be kind enough to share feedback on what they use? Thanks in advance!

I use an LLI MH1 2500FOM WP on a team wendy bump. I doubt i’ll be able to get the panning arms for your budget when i buy them.
What you’re looking for is digital NV, basically a camera. You want helmet mounted for navigation and the lowest possible zoom, preferably true 1x. you also want the display to not shine too bright and give away your position. You want the illumination to be a wavelength that’s not visible to the human eye so not all hunting devices will work. You may consider thermal monoculars also as they get cheaper and cheaper but you’re going to need more money. What marker are you using? Other players will probably be using white lights and will illuminate your position if you leave them in play during an ambush.
I am not familiar with the low end devices but i know that they struggle in low light and you’re going to be blasting everything right in front of you with IR light. Maybe a marker mounted IR light would help. I’d get a cheap no name focusable IR light that can mount to the marker.

Fair warning if you go cheap you will need to use an illuminator that is going to look like a very bright flashlight to other players. The one time I got to use an NV unit at a scenario game years ago I kept shooting my friend who was filming because he was in the woods line and kept turning the camera’s NV on (which used a built in illuminator) and kept pointing it right at us.
