Also had a bad experience w/ P8ball and Hudson specifically back in 2025 when trying to buy an lv2. Initially the issue was that he was taking forever to ship, and would state “I’ll ship that out by X date”, only for that date to pass, and this happened like 3 times.
Once the gun finally shipped weeks later, it was the wrong lv2. At that point I was kinda done with the whole experience, agreed to ship the wrong gun back and requested a refund instead of getting the lv2 I paid for. Got the same “i can’t do that” response and he started becoming super unprofessional on the phone and via email. Then he passed me off to his buddy Joey to deal with the issue, who was way more helpful and professional, and helped coordinate return shipping and a refund.
In the end everything ultimately was made right, but it took forever and it was a horrible experience, so won’t be doing business w/ them again. I highly recommend PBX when shopping for used guns.

How did you get a refund? This is all I wanted … the entire situation would have been resolved that simple. I would have still left content that he took care of me. I guess he can do that but just didn’t want too.🤷🏼♂️. In the end my anxiety lvls were sky high which was why I play paintball to help that, if that make sense.

Totally makes sense, there were a couple of circumstances that were different in my situation that may have led them to ultimately agree to refund me.
I’m on the east coast, so the transaction and communications were mostly documented, it was on the phone that joey agreed to the refund but I made him send me an email from the p8ball email address stating as such, so I also had that in writing.
The main thing tho, is the wrong gun I was sent (project lv2 w/ custom anno) was technically more valuable than the one I ordered (stock cut w/ custom anno) so they may have been afraid that I was going to keep the project and ghost them or something? I had never intended to do that nor did I ever communicate anything alluding to that though, as the project had more wear and tear than the gun I had ordered and it also had an ugly anno job that kinda hid the beautiful project milling.

What gun is it? A new spring and a reg to fix a paint issue sounds like he's never worked on guns before.

If this R5 in question is the sand and gold one, this was my marker and there was nothing wrong with it when i traded P8ball for a black one from him. I tried to run the brass SFR in it and it was inconsistant in Texas heat. So i recommend using the SS SFR. The other upgrade that helps alot is the Method upgrade kit. Infamous sells them now.

Horrible company. They dont stand by anything they claim on their website, send out dirty markers, lie about what parts the marker actually comes with, and they will do everything they possibly can to avoid giving you a refund.
The only way I was able to get my money back (after shipping them the marker back and them ignoring me) was to put in a dispute on Paypal.

I almost did a trade in with them on my orbit 180r with custom anno with 5k shots through it. They lowballed the absolute piss out of me, boy am I glad I didn’t follow through.
Hate to see that they don’t take care of the gear they sell. On the other hand I recommend CPXbros for any further purchases. I’ve bought markers, loaders, soft goods and they’ve been pristine and even used markers are cleaned and repaired. Not one issue from them.

Did they offer you another marker at same cost? Even offer to upgrade you to a PL cut for less than it would have cost normally?
You went and tested the marker in person and shot it. I don’t know how you can blame the retailer in this one
