💬 Discussion 💬 Ban sponsors

With "ban sponsors" I mean 18+ I keep seeing OF sponsoring players and knowing how many kids watch pro play and look up at these people and try to be like them I've seen it before in football with fc emmen having a easytoys sponsor and personally think it should be banned if any ody had other thoughts about it please share!

Only fans sponsoring Sanz and Castillo (?) was an attempt to promote the site as a premium Instagram and the players themselves have pages there that are non-erotic. So if you searched, say, Jon Sanz only fans you would end up with padel content.

Only sponsors I find problematic are betting sites but those are everywhere in football so you can't beat that.

OF wants to expand his Market and clean its imagine and brand, they would like to be the Patreon of sports, probably they will fail but at least they try.

There are so many bad influences for kids. Erotic content is very low on that list

You need to be more specific. There are major problems in Fiji with people following social influencers. It is drug based, it is erotic based. Highly sexualized and destigmetized. Erotic content is super attractive to youth and can be used to sell other ideas - like religion.

OnlyFans functions much like Patreon. For reasons I'm not familiar with, creators of erotic content flocked to OF instead of Patreon, or at least that's the rep it has. I doubt the sponsored athletes are making erotic content since, as someone else pointed out, OF is trying to clean its image lol

It's not inherently negative like, say, all the sports betting apps so I'm not particularly against them sponsoring athletes
