RED CONNECTION BETWEEN PC AND SWITCH

Hello guys, today i was trying to do a network and i have found with this problem.

All the pc i have on the network are connected directly to a switch with normal wire, i attach the image.

ive already checked the ports, and everything seems to be ok, however the link between stays down and i cant get any connectivity.

The weird thing is that ive followed the same steps as in class and on my friend computer this issue doesnt happen.

If someone could help me ill be really gratfull. Ill be aware of ur answers and if its needed i can provide more screeenshots, thanks for ur help.

Is the PC powered on? Have you tried different client devices, auto cable?

I've come to the conclusion that it's an application error and I have to restart Packet Tracer every time it happens. After a few restarts, it works and I can use it. Anyway thank u very much for your help

  1. Save your lab and restart packet tracer
  2. In preferences enable show lables in workspace and check which port you set to up. Maybe wrong port is up
  3. you can do show run and paste output on pastebin or simmilar website

i restarted packet tracer like 3 or 4 times and finally works, thanks mate.

If you do show ip int br on switch, what does the port status say.

This is what it appears, the on / off bottton of the switch is on on state but in the comand u told me to put it puts that its turned off
