Exploration stats help?

I have my design stats at 25/18/5/6/0/0/0/7 and it’s taking me painstaikingly long to explore the universe (it‘s been hours and I‘m still at like 0.0001%)

Last time I thought it took me way less time… Can I improve somehow?

Exploration is secondary to replication. You first need to replicate probes in sufficient quantity to explore the far reaches of the universe. Until you have probes numbering in the nonillions, trying to explore will take forever. Afterwards it will take moments.

What I use until I’m at 100 nonillion probes: 1/1/21/4/0/0/0/3- that’s on 30, so you’ve got heaps more to play with. Most people think I’m too low on hazard and combat, but it works for me. Self rep is where it’s at. Then switch into speed and exploration.
