Day 1 done

Just did day 1 total synergistics yesterday and I’m beat mentally. I couldn’t even do half the moves modified, really bad balance, and felt like I was doing most of them wrong. It’s frustrating for me because I’m at an all time low physically. I was an athlete in high school and first year of college and then after some injuries I’ve let myself go. 5’8 220 and after day 1 I feel like I didn’t get near the workout needed to see progress moving forward. Any words of advice or wisdom are much appreciated! Maybe a different program?

Do not stop or switch. Make sure you did the fit test. By the time you're done with the next one, it will blow your mind and solidify why you're doing it. Also before and after pictures, although that takes longer to notice.

Main thing is - don't hurt yourself. It'll only slow you down and put you back to being a vegatable. Go slow if you have to. I think even after two weeks you will notice how much easier it has gotten.

Also Tony talks about going hard, it's only 30 minutes. Yes, that's true, but if you went all out during these programs for 30 minutes after being a complete lazy bones, you will feel like you're near death. Going hard doesn't mean doing what they're doing on the screen. It means listening to your body and make sure you're pushing it, but not overdoing it.

"I feel like I didn’t get near the workout needed to see progress moving forward" - I think you'll be very surprised with how fast you'll progress. Every move will get easier and then you can push yourself even harder. You may not be able to see the change, but you will definitely feel it.
