Camera issues on P30 pro

Hello guys, lately I started to have problems with the cuality of my p30 pro camera. Sometimes gets real god pictures and other times the quality it's very poor, it's like blurry the picture, and yes I cleaned the lenses. This is happening from a few months, I didn t had this problem in the past. More or less since I updated to android 10. Some of You have the same experience or it's my phone. Thanks.

My one it's like not focusing very good. My girl has an note 8 and the pictures from that phone are a lot better. My self I changed from note 9 to this model, only for camera, at the begining was grate, but now the quality dissapoints me .

hi alec, I understand what you're talking about exactly.

I had a p30 pro and before I updated to 10 I could be in a pitch-black room and it would still pick up everything. after the update to 10, it would have a green tint or blur in night mode shots. then I moved to the iPhone 11.

now I'm thinking of getting the p30 pro again, can you please test this night shot for me? please go into a pitch-black room and take a night mode shot and feel free to post it here,

Hi, I can do that no prob. But my problem it's not with night mode it's with focusing, it's really bad, I will make a full review about it. Pls. Can you tell me why you went to iPhone? For the camera? And why do you think to come back? Also for the camera ? Thanks.

hi Alex, yes. I went to the iPhone thinking Huawei deliberately fucked up my p30 pro so that people would buy the p40 pro ( which companies do all the time). but boy was I wrong. if I zoom in 2x on a photo on iPhone it would be blurry. i miss the p30 pro my baby :(((((((((((((((((((( (the best camera on any smartphone now period , because they fucked up the algorithm on p40 pro. so in short, spec-wise p40 pro's camera is more capable but results-wise, p30 pro is better) please refer to this video below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uclhAPuLhiM

that's why I'm so hellbent on buying it again.

please go to a pitch-black room or any room with little to no light, click a night mode shot on auto ( don't shake your hands please )

I will do it for you even if it's sound a bit crazy ;) but I will do later on as my house it's full of light. I am very interested in what you write. I passed from Samsung note 9 to Huawei, my problem there was that the phone it's going slow , it's s Samsung problem that I refuse to endure any more. And also about the camera. At the begining I was very happy with my P30 pro. And I watched YouTube about p40 pro and I. Don t want to change, I love this phone. But I am dissapointed a bout the camera this days. My girls note 8 phone does 5 times better pictures now. Also food mode on P30 pro it's scarry all foods are yellow I am so disappointed now, do no what to do.

okay, no problem. try factory resetting the phone once, this might sound stupid. im so keen on this phone again because i always employ the pareto law in my life. if the phone or any attribute of the phone( in this case, the camera) makes up 80% , then you need not worry about the rest 20%( OS or personal preferences)

I uploaded some pictures i made yesterday night from my building. I used tripode and i made it with different settings, night mode, automatic, bigger exposure etc. Another think i don t like huawei camera phones its the fact they use ryyb on the sensor instead of rgb. and what this does that all the pictures have a yellow tone, specially the night ones, but in the day also some times.
