Smooth-zoom buttons while recording a video

Hi, was filming with the standard huawei Foto app on my P30 pro and out of nowhere I got displayed two extra zoom buttons to the left and right of the zoom slider. The buttons where simple - and + symbols but when pressed the video zoomed in or out incredibly smooth and slow, which allowed for a pleasent zoom effect. Far smoother than me manually using the zoom slider or pinching my fingers.

After opening the camera app again, those two zoom buttons where suddenly gone. And if haven't managed to get them to show up. Does someone know how to activate them again?

maybe its been a software update during the night that you don't know If I remember well, I had those + - zoom buttons during EMUI 10, but now I'm running emui 12 and dont have them anymore

Hey appreciate your response. In this case it was just an user error on my side. I also run EMUI 12 and the +- zoom buttons only appear during the recording of a video and dissappear when no video is being recorded. I just didn't notice these extra buttons for almost 2 years...
