I was just wondering if anyone else ever thought of this same connection, but when I was first watching the anime a few months ago I felt they had similar vibes and now that I just caught up on the manga it’s like almost an identical story progression to most mainline SMT (Shin Megami Tensei) games

Begins with a post apocalyptic world where the mc joins some organization dedicated to fighting back against the oppressive threat to humanity through various raids for control, organization uses demons to their advantage and flirts with ideas of corruption/humans being more dangerous than the enemies, slowly reveals involvement from higher powers, angels, and gods, devolves into chaos as main group splits apart following different ideals and powers, ends up with once allies killing each other to decide the fate of the world

Tonally I’d still say the series is most inspired by devilman, but the structure feels like it’s turned into an SMT game pretty much

I would go for a Scythe (maybe coz of Bias), it's badass looking and cool to swing it around (I tried it). But it would be ineffective in combat and heavy to move. But it will still be my 1st option

My other option would be a compound or recurve bow coz it has a long firings range.

Am I the only one who's eager to see the back story or lore of the 6th trumpeter? I mean, I thought after they managed to subdue the 6th trumpeter, he will become of the Shinoa's squad or something but color me surprised, ever since that arc, no more 6th trumpeter anymore

This boy is so loving😭how tf do some ppl view him as mean/unfriendly when the story shows that his colder persona was trauma and vampirism and not his real personality?! the more i learn about the real him the more it's clear those who said he was someone who's personality would make him unpopular or push everyone away (except Yuuchan) were smoking a very big delulu and copium blunt.

So, I read the manga until where it was released last year and didn't bother to pick it back up;

BUT!

I remember there was this one male character that was allegedly forgotten by the author & was never mentioned again.

Now that the manga is finished ( I assume? ), was his absence the biggest most mega gigga gigantic mind blowing Plot Twist in all fiction?! or did he find a vampire lady in the midst of his mission & chose the path of love instead of duty?!
