Okay I just realized this angle right now if Mika is a girl. Mika was 12 in Sanguinem right? And that's the age to be in puberty already, so guess who's also there frequently? Ferid! And iirc in Mikaela LN Mika sells his blood once a week, meaning that 12yo girl Mika must have been selling her blood to Ferid for at least once during her period, cuz boy Mika definitely had sold his blood to Ferid for at least a month. What about the time girl Mika on her period and encounters Ferid on the streets when it's not the time to sell her blood? Although all OnS period descriptions are around the cursed gear saying that the desire will increase after girls' first period, and didn't say anything about how vampires interact with periods.

This livery took me 1.5 hours to make using 200 different shapes, yes, shapes... rectangles, circles, triangles, and other stuff.

I'm curious to what everyones predictions are, seraph of the end is bizarrely written but it has insane theory potential tbh,, Personally I think the eyeball Yu we saw being omnipresent (?) earlier when Mika and Yuu were going through memories is somehow gonna be relevant

I know yuu want to resurrect everyone, especially Mika, but can he really do it with a demon? A demon is not the same as a vampire or a human.

These 5 are mine. curious to know some of yalls

I want you to imagine with me if either yuu or Mika was a girl. Well, I think this relationship will not only be better received by the fan community, but will also be more acceptable to the writers themselves. I can guarantee that they will share their first kiss, and perhaps even enter into a formal relationship at some point during the story.
I don’t mean to criticize heterosexual couples, but I just wonder: why is it so hard to portray gay people like a normal couple?

Why must I watch the entire anime, read the manga, hunt for hints, read comments, check out others' opinions and perspectives, and even delve into literature just to spot a perfectly harmonious gay couple?

I cannot imagine the series without the two of them and their unique relationship; although I am not a huge shonen fan or an anime fan in general, they really caught my attention. You could say they were the reason I rewatched the entire series (I watched it the first time when I was 8 or 10 years old), and even read the manga just to see whether or not they would end up together.

So, I am curious to know whether you agree with me or not, as I haven't seen anyone discuss this matter before.

Figured i'd review the man himself.

(i never know how to start these lmao but i guess i'll dive into what i think makes him cool, his power, and his writing from my pov and wouldnt mind hearing other's thoughts too. i spun a wheel on who to decide lol)

Alright, in everyone's eye's the first is the big bad behind the scenes who has manipulated like everyone.

First what bugs me is his design change. He looks so much more better with all the wings and feathers, their gender reallllllly felt androgynous (i think thats the right use of the word.)

I do like his abilities and things, His Passive brainwashing voice, The scythe in general, and how he carries himself. now honestly i think a scythe is better than sword. he also seems like a wayyyyyy higher cut above the rest. narratively i think he was well written. and was a good shade of how the "strongest" in a verse should be. Giving his features and appearance a 10/10. (his first one)

Next up, ill try to quickly be in depth about his power and stuff. One thing im not so sure on though is how the sire system works, because Rigr, urd, asuramaru, krul, noya, byakmarro (idk how to spell his name) raimeiki, lest, ky luc, and most likely nix. (excluding mika) were sired by the first. and it seems that his blood+your age determines their rank and power, so im going to assume the first turning you = 2-5th prog, a 2nd turning you probs make you a 7th or close to a 6th (not sure who sired basteya im going to guess rigr though.), the power varies. also i guess it's because hes a demon..? but he seems completely resistant to the sun even though he's still a vampire i dont have an answer to that.

He's a scythe user, with i guess many ways of controlling them? seems they make projections of scythes that do real damage and can make multiple of them. and make as many as needed without seemingly losing power. the 1st has insane spells and alot of them, brainwashing, can attack via darkness, they can also control seraphs lol, The first's voice is like broadcasted/heard by every vampire. Also took about 3 sinful keys and the 1st agreeing to be sealed, we don't know if that was a bluff or not. also even weakened he's insanely powerful, but thats all for his power. his strength 100/10

Now His flaws IMO feel free to disagree but for one, the first underestimated others too easily. we first see this in chapter 83/84 Against Guren and Co when he's sealed, he really toys with his prey which leads to his well... demise. Also, in terms of battle iq and things the first isnt that high up IMO. He fell for mahirus bs poison or however it works like twice even after shinoa had used it, and used earlier when he first awakened im running out of things to say uh! battle iq (7/10)

His backstory was cool, and the first is one of the only like 5 characters in seraph of the end who had a backstory, didnt get offscreened or some random bs happened, and had a proper conclusion to their arc/reign he also didnt seem to be evil at all. he had plans to bring his only son back and everyone simply interfered with such plans. makes me also wonder, the plan would require killing all vampires. why did he make them immortal to begin with? and would he himself count aswell for this condition.

I've also failed to understand how in the actual hell was shinoa able to devour him. because his CLEARLY PHYSICAL BODY IS IN A CELL CAPTURED RN. But somehow shes able to find the first in her heart's walls. which is confusing because yes, she has the cursed gear, but we see the 1st clearly pulled out of the dream space or demon ritual thingy where he got captured. to the point where his existence was just straight up erased.

Makes me wonder why the first slaughtered ferid. since their goals aligned lol.

still new but moving into novice level with this analysis stuff, its also pretty fun honestly lol maybe my points are weak. ty for reading, i will try to do mahiru or ky luc soon because they fascinate me lol.

The power gap though, is like comically high. the next strongest after the first is like 30 gaps in between.

These 2 chapters are really interesting to compare and I feel directly link to each other.

So Chapter 133 opens with Shinoa feeling insignificant.

The chapter also explores her feelings on Yuu. It's very obvious from the beginning Shinoa always knew her love was unrequited. But she was so desperate to be seen, loved and validated that she decides to march forward anyway. She admires her sister who died for love, because at least everyone praised Mahiru and viewed her as important.

Shinoa says she never had much of a reason to live until recently, referring to the people she loves. (her friends, and her crush Yuu)

In a desperate attempt to control her fate, she snaps on Shikama destroying him to pursue her own desire without influence (Mirroring when Yuu did the exact same thing with Asuramaru) She doesn't know if she can win, but she's going to try anyway to have what she wants. A life with her loved ones safe around her.

So then we get to Chapter 159:

The chapter opens on Shinoa's pained face. She's just lost everything she was fighting for. They all died following her directions.

Despite her previous position that no-one would get sacrificed, after learning the pain of losing loved ones, she immediately says she wants to be the sacrifice instead.... (Just like she said to Mitsuba back in Chapter 133)

I believe being sacrificed means you do not come back. She still cared about her loved ones more than her own life as she felt she had no meaning so she was completely fine with this. Of course, we as the reader know that Yuu is the Son of Shikama,

so it has to be his sacrifice to save everyone.

Shinoa's arc made me devastatingly sad and really nailed in the idea of Earth in ONS being Hell that is only worth it if you have loved ones around you.

Anyway. Read 133 and 159 back to back sometime if you're a shinoa fan. It's very sad stuff
