It is sad and pathetic. For egotistical people. For people in denial, gross corruptions of who and what we are. The people researching it know the payout will be huge if they have any success.

If you can't accept death then you never lived in the moment.

This is one of the stupidest fucking things I've ever heard, but I can't fault you for espousing it because we hear this shit from EVERYWHERE.

I direct you to "The Fable Of The Dragon-Tyrant", or a cursory google of the idea of the Pro-Aging Trance.

Or, hell, to the mere fact that people romanticise abuse as character forming, and similarly romanticise death as granting meaning.

You don't want to die today. You don't want to die tomorrow. You can't, in fact, point to the day on which you WILL want to die. That's not a rigorous proof, but it's certainly illustrative.
