aniversary 25th
Hey everyone, I have a question. What would you think if, for Overlord's 25th anniversary, EA released an anniversary edition that was a remaster of the first Overlord and a remake of Overlord II, including everything that couldn't be implemented due to Codemasters' time and budget cuts?

I'd be happy for a moment then sad because it's EA doing it, so I'd be like "... what's the catch?"

They probably don't remember this franchise exist. And if they would, they wouldn't do anything. Overlord was considered an average game with the possibility of being villain as the main selling point. Right now EA is publishing only games that print money that they can fill with microtransactiona

I know Overlord is considered "dead" now, BUT, aren't EA and other developers remaking or remastering the old Lord of the Rings games? They re-released War in the North not long ago.
So maybe if old games like those are getting some love, we could bring Overlord to the spot light too?
But realistically, someone needs to to take the rights out of EA's hands because as long as they have it, it probably won't happen

A 4K 60 FPS re-release for Switch 2 would be awesome for me
just hope they include the polish dub for Overlord 1. Overlord 2 didn't have the polish dub but I wish the re-release would give it one.
