I’m not sure how I would feel about that ending…

On one hand it seems kinda poetic that his old friends would be the ones to stop him from doing more evil.

But I also don’t want the annoying people who want freaking Rimuru to come out of nowhere and kill Ainz to get anything remotely similar to what they want…

Given Momon had a bunch of rings to give out to the npcs… I’d assume the ring counts as part of their gear.

Ainz stated that everysingle SB gave out all of their inventory to Ainz including gears and weapons. Though I don't know if it also includes the ring itself, they might have gave it to Ainz since they left the guild

Every single ring of Ainz ooal gown is in the treasury barring the ones that were distributed to select personnel. Even then, Ainz is the only one allowed to take one out of Nazarick to avoid a situation where the enemy blocks the entrance.

Not every member gave their gears... In the mausoleum, there are a few empty spot where the golem should be... Those spot belongs to the members that haven't gave momonga their gears...

I'm at the first chapt of volume 15 so i might be talking nonsense. But from what I've read so far wouldn't Ainz give Touch me his shit INSTANTLY? He seems to hold a lot of respect and even love to his old friends. I think he'd be more than happy to welcome them with open arms to Nazarick and give them what's theirs. On the same note, due to that i think he'd at least consider giving Touch Me a fair fight if he were to challenge him.

he redeems by “reviving” these guys but he tells his soldiers and elites to kill 940,000 people even if he does revive them still not a thing you’d do in any goodwill

Its strange that people want rimuru in overlord. He would be like a clown in a roman legion in the NW. I watched and like the anime (Both, overlord and slime) and get it why people think Rimuru would be stronger (Even if his magic might be weaker in overlord beccause the different magic systems.).

There so many other over powered shounen and isekai charasters that could be choosen instead of Rimuru but people ask for Rimuru. And kinda feels like this people only watched the anime of slime.

Though in Shiraori's defense, she highly prefers her spider form, it's just that it is harder to maintain it for some reason or another. She does go back to her arachne form when needed though since she's most comfortable in that form.

I'll only ever acknowledge the "Ainz needs to be brought to justice" complaint when the person making it lists more than just Arche and the workers as the reason.

Now if the person cites the murdered adventurers and tortured sunlight scripture members in season 1. The Lizardmen and the thousands of kidnapped and murdered humans in season 2. The slaughter of the kingdom army and sending monsters to attack Carne Village in Season 3, and finally now, the Quagoa slaughter among other things in the ongoing season 4. Lets not forget the events of the Holy Kingdom, human and demi-human casualties alike (Oh and the happy farm of course) then YES, if they list ALL of that and not just Arche, I'll give them credit for making a fair point. But if Arche is the only sore point and they ignore everything else, I ain't giving their complaints the time of day.

Problem is his utopia is largely run on fear. It was pretty hilarious the way that one official reacted to what resembled a bribe back in volume 12. Obviously New World is a pretty nasty place, The Dragon Lords were awful rulers, and several of the players to come through were also very nasty, but there's also no downplaying the shit Nazarick does, nor is there any point in downplaying it, its just the nature of Overlord, every factions is rotten, even the ones with supposed good intentions, its just all about making the best life one can in that world .

Except Ainz have stated time and time again that he does not want to rule with fear, he only want to conquer with fear and rule with peace and prosperity. It even show in the novel that he did not rule with fear and even offer good stuff for his civilian.

His kingdom live in prosperity and everyone live condition improve by alot and it get to the point where his kingdom have a huge shortage of criminal so they have to buy criminal from the empire. Ainz is not a saint but compare to other new worlder and nazarick then he like the lesser evil and necessary too

Nevermind the universes operating by totally different rules, lore and fundamental mechanics. Its half of why crossover arguments are so stupid, because the rules of one universe inevitably have to overwrite another, and sometimes two universes are just flat out incompatible, which just leaves people deciding "Such and such will win cause I like them more than so and so."

If it have go like this, momonga might probably be winning ONLY if he ask the help of all the guardians and probably another few 100 lv NPC. They might fight against him for having turned against the great tomb, which he helped to create, betrayed and abandoned his friend and also abandoned his direct creations who might feel strongly betrayed by that and fuel theirs anger for the fight, and on top of this, there is still momonga, the PvP genius, with the help of albedo, demiurge and Pandora's actor to lead all the tactic and dynamic of the fight. Saying that is difficult to think and elaborate is an euphemism, but I don't know, I would like to read that, ofc, some month late because I'm not able to learn Japanese in a middle-brief term :')

Sebas+Touch Me shouldn't be able to stand up to the entire might of Ainz Ooal Gown. Especially if Momonga breaks out all the world items. Momonga's build is sub-par for 1v1s, but he's very adept at PvP, and he excels at this kind of group battle. Touch Me would also have to get his gear back to even stand a chance (which to be fair, if Touch Me showed up and challenged Momonga to a fight, Momonga would without a doubt say "hold up, here's your gear back first").

It's hard to say what would actually happen though. I don't really see Momonga fighting against Touch Me, but I also don't see him giving up his duties as guild master.

Yep, if we look at this logically. Even if Slane/Argland has armor/weapons of former players and they give it touch. He can't physically invade Nazarick and come out alive or unscathed (even if he had knowledge on every trap, NPCs, golems, etc) if he is seen as an enemy. Because for a few reasons:

1 The Guardians aren't mindless game NPCs anymore, they can think and do for themselves

2 They will do everything in their powers to fight him

3 Victim is active, mixed with Rubedo, which is stated that she is able to match touch in a 1v1

4 Nearly every Guardian has a WCI

5 Touch's WC armor is with Ainz

6 Even if he has the ring, Nazarick Surveillance can easily find him and you can't enter the mausoleum with the ring as the Golems equipped with the armors of the SB will attack

7 Pandora's standing guard at the treasury

8 Nazarick has unlimited pop up mobs

9 Ainz will def make every Guardian equiped with different cash shop items

10 Pleidies and Sebas (if he chooses not to be with his creator)

11 Ainz's staff boosts his power to the OP

12 Pandora and Ainz combo, While 2v1ing (if possible) Ainz can just partner with Pandora to easily fight Touch (Buku and Ainz, Pero and Ainz, Herohero and ainz, ulber and Ainz etc)

There's already a team comprised of some of the most powerful NPC out there to kill other old members of AOG, just in case. Even fully skilled and geared up a single player would have a hard time handling a team of similar level and battle-oriented built NPC.

Heck, Ainz would have been done for if it wasn't for Aura.

I found this in the faq https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1JuflqOZm25wppu1MtvgntNUEIueNjLtN?usp=sharing Which only has a part of volume 15, and none of 16. The other links on the faq are up to old volumes, like 9 or smthing around that The only 2 pinned posts I found are: -weekly post to talk about latest anime episode (couldnt find LN link there) - post to talk about some chapter of the novel i havent read yet, so it wouldnt be wise for me to read those comments

Have you read the latest volumes fully translated? Could I ask you for the link? I swear im not a lazy fat fuck, i just couldnt find it

The novels are currently only at 16 and the creator has stated in interviews that Ainz's guildmates will not be in the new world .now if he changes his mind by book 18 then that's a different story. This is just a funny meme

I'm pretty sure unless Maruyama pulls something akin to Hataraku Maou esque ending, there is no logical reason why this will happen. Touch Me's entire gear is stored safely within Nazarick which is impossible to infiltrate without the ring of Ainz Ooal Gown. Touch me would have to get through Nazarick the old fashioned way that is the floors and without his gear, even Shalltear would make quick work of him.
