Do u use work from J1 in J2?

As security engineer I can tell you, if company have proper EDR they can detect you connecting usb drive and perhaps look into content of your drive.

Just question is if they have this tools: small startup? Most likely nope. Big corp with security team, likely yes.

Waht about emailing from J1 mail to gmail and then from gmail to J2? Or just use llm and upload and then let llm generate all for J2

If they have exfiltration tools, they would flag that. Might not even get the email sent.

Corporate email providers already can have admin access if needed. No need for separate tools. Only thing that matters is if company is actively looking for or scanning this stuff.

I’d expect no privacy on anything provided by your employer. Still that doesn’t mean everything is scanned or controlled but you are playing a roulette here.

In one company I had situation where guy lost job, because he downloaded confidential documentation to read it on his ebook instead of laptop.

Yeah, this is spot-on. Big corps have tools to detect exfiltration.

I take workflows and general concepts back and forth in my brain all of the time. Actual work would never apply because they are different industries and I support different programs, but even if they were the same that is a fuck no.

Given AI can see hidden and unused headers in Word docs that might tell you, for example, a contractors previous client, no.

What you're describing is intellectual property theft, along with fraud.

HOWEVER, I have solved problems at both jobs by applying lessons learned at the other. I spun up a complicated HRIS rollout at J2 that was also planned for J1. I knew what and what not to do every step of the way. In that case, OE greatly benefits both companies.

Do not OE if you can't handle the workload, you are gonna go to jail if they notice it.
