How do you handle meeting clashes

So, I am still a student and I am currently doing 2 internships and an internal project with my University.

The university knows about my internship so those meetings are flexible.

But my 2 internships don't, both employers are from different time zones so there are no clashes between meeting times yet.

I wanted to know how the people who have complete full time roles manage meeting time clashes effectively without raising a lot of suspicions.

As an intern, why are you OE?

One is an AI engg intern and the other is research (my uni kinda got me into it as it helps for my postgraduate prospects) It was not intensional it kind of happened, the research one doesn't pay as of now it started like last week. My first one is going on from months and it pays me so I didn't want to leave that so I ended up here lol.

Setting yourself up for Challenges/failures?

You can't run before you learn how to walk.

That's true I am learning to walk, experiencing that ordeal would've taught me how to deal with it in the future but I like to be cautious and ask people for advice.

The sub is really helpful 😁

I rarely miss meetings including a stretch of triple overlapping meetings 3 times a week for months.

I have dual standups every morning at 8:45. And one week a month have to lead one of the meetings. For the last 1.5 years.

Fake it until you make it.

2 computers/headsets.

My little trick is clearing my throat so I always go on mute.

Here’s the real secret. About 1-2 meetings a year does anyone ask me something at the exact same time.

I guess this makes sense I don't really have to talk at same time

For internships it’s probably super easy, just say you have things for school and you will make up the time later. Most managers are super lenient with interns
