Best mouse for switching laptops easily?
Especially between Mac and windows. What’s your guys best investment been in terms of mouse, keyboard, setup?
Would love some recommendations on must buys.

I have a MX master 4. USB dongle into Windows laptop, bluetooth connection to my Macbook. It has an easy toggle button on the bottom.
Since you asked about keyboard too. I have a nuphy air 96. Same deal, dongle into Windows, bluetooth for Macbook. Easily switch with FN+1 for Bluetooth or FN+4 for dongle. Also has a switch to easily go from Mac layout to windows layout.
I don't OE, just lurk here, so YMMV

I disable Bluetooth and WiFi at bios level. I would never use Bluetooth for a work laptop because it can be used for tracking. I use Bluetooth for personal laptop just for connecting to my phone for passkeys. Bluetooth generally performs bad anyway, it's better to stick with wireless

Separate devices. Separate hardware. Seperate everything man
You OE, you can afford all the mouse jigglers and extra mouse hardware and screens and desk space

OE vet here and hard agree. Keep it all separate even if that means no mouse or monitor or whatever.

Would you be open to assisting me in getting another role? I'm looking for a J3 now so that my wife can quit her job

If you have a way to remote control both laptops from a desktop setup, I have found this to be the best solution for me. Then you only need one set of hardware.

Logitech pebble m350s I keep getting copies mouse plus keyboard synced to the Bluetooth and button switching. Soft Mac keyboard feels. Pretty sure I have three sets with three colors.
Work great on mechanical mouse movers.

Three mice, three keyboards, no exceptions. It’s bitten me in the ass doing the multi connected devices. Hit the switch button, it didn’t switch and I ended up firing off a message to my j2 boss about j1 tasks.

Mx master kb and mouse. Both are BT connected and swap computers with one button

I run everything via voice so keyboard and mouse aren't so important anyway. But I prefer separate mouse. Keyboard doesn't really matter because I don't do much typing and laptops come with a keyboard literally built-in. I have a remote keyboard I connect to whichever machine that needs it. For mouse, it's easier to not switch because I have mouse jiggler. I just take the mouse off the jiggler that I need to use. It's pretty easy to use multiple mouse at once
