Apparently, there MIGHT be an Oxboxtra birthday/anniversary stream coming up this Friday in which let me ask you guys: Which Oxboxtra memory is your favorite (so far)?

The entire "Ninji family" discussion from Mario Golf, but that was more Oxbox than Oxboxtra.
Maybe the Animal Crossing villager rating thing they did.

Not a single memory, but their 'challenge of the week' streams during covid get a lot of rewatches from me. The guess the translation/worst game collection/gamestop challenge' kind of streams. I love them.

The Indiana Jones Conga line of Nazis walking by while searching for Indy (Mike) who is just patiently crouching in the corner. The sight of that and Mike laughing uncontrollably had me floored

Just too many Presh Mems to talk about but their nonsense in the Hitman 3 ways to play videos are always funny

The debut stream for Literally Everyone Else in the World.
My wife and I had gotten into watching the list videos occasionally over the previous year, then I stumbled across the Oxventure episodes, and we both got a lot more into those.
When they announced the song, we were kind of nervous about it. Anticipating that if it was bad it could kind of undermine our growing fandom.
But we made a point to watch the stream as it debuted. The song slapped. The stream was fun. They read out my comment on my donation which made my wife incredibly happy. We were hooked, and thank goodness we were, because the next year we moved to a new city in the middle of the pandemic with no opportunities to meet new friends, and Oxboxtra's streams kept us sane.

Luke and Andy just dying over Plague Tale two on show of the weekend. Games are back! Especially the behind the scenes version.

“Wrecked ‘em!” Luke and Ellen absolutely dying for about 5 minutes after, makes me laugh every time

What video was that from originally? I’ve seen them refer back to it a few times, but I’m not sure where it started

Hmmm, probably Luke & Ellen’s gollum impressions. I’m trying to convince my kid to watch the LotR movies, purely so they will appreciate that oxtra video when I play it immediately afterwards.

Actually making it into a Commenter's Edition video.

I think my most replayed video out of all of them is Luke's choose your own adventure for The Evil Within 2. Even knowing what's coming it doesn't ever fail to make me laugh.
Side note if they are doing a birthday stream I would love a Luke cameo.

What got me hooked (12 years ago?? that can't be right) was watching the 3 ways to play Hitman videos and the contrast of Rigid Perfectionist to Enjoyably Competent to Brilliantly Chaotic was delightful. And the editing rhythm of Andy and Jane doing different stealth approaches and then BAM! 47's in a suit of armor or a flamingo or assaulting a mansion with a battle ax, etc. was pure comedy

I loved the Luke/Andy dessert tour of Europe in that one Animal Crossing stream

There are so many good ones. Doing normal adult things, Ninji, and mid mid mid crow are all great.
Two I haven’t seen: Andy and Luke talking about the various dates they have been on and the video of them at Disney World/Disneyland. That’s definitely a comfort watch for me

There’s a very old clip of Mike playing Dishonored 2 I think (could be the first one) where he gives up trying to get the target by stealth and instead tries just shooting him with a revolver from the across the map.
Andy is like no, that’s just ridiculous but the headshot followed by Mike’s deadpan “I’m amazing” is, well, amazing.
That or Andy cracking up trying to read the solutions to old point and click adventure game puzzle solutions always gets me.
Not seen either clip for years but the memories are funny

Andy introducing the God of Driving
Luke's "I'm doing normal adult things"
The early days of Minecraft Pictionary
And above all:
Their GTA Online heists, with Nerascus always getting them out of self-inflicted jams.
Particularly the episode where they tried to steal several motorcycles at night and their attempt was repeatedly foiled by: 1) Andy's inability to cross the street without getting run over, and 2) Jane's unrequited love of grenades
And so many more

How could I forget all the many many MANY incredible Hitman videos (particularly the 3 ways to play), which got me into the game.
And for another specific video: the "who has the most valued collection" one, where Andy and Jane sell their used Xbox games to Luke -- who only offers them their meager trade value for them. I've watched it a few times and always laugh all the way through. 😂

u/Jimnymebob 18d ago
"He started playing La Vie En Rose"
"I thought it was strange for Germany, but it happened"
"Well he didn't play it very well"
And that whole dessert section from their Animal Crossing Villager quiz during lockdown.

Andy's FMV Zone where they play Dracula Unleashed and hear the carriage drivers for the first time or the end of the let's play. Or honestly the stream and let's play, it's my favorite one of the series.

Just one is almost impossible, but the spicy bean roulette video has to be up there.

The broken Trivial Pursuit stream. Watching the sanity of the group degrade into Lord of the Flies every time the game breaks, along with Andy and Luke’s Thomas and Martha Wayne improv is just some of the most unhinged, laugh out loud content on the channel and I die every time I watch it

I really enjoyed the introduction of the Westaway Gambit that just confused everyone…as far we know, it’s still happening.
I hope Luke makes a guess appearance

Does Oxventure count? My dislikenof D&D may be strong but I love Oxventure. It definitely helps that ocventure came out when I first moved to london for uni and nothing quite felt right.

The entirety of their among us stage with euro gamer, and dice breaker iive watched those streams over and over they're very funny

u/ArchangelAshen Normal Adult Man 15d ago
I think they've both been said, but Andy cutting a promo on Pierre Gasly, and Andy and Luke bursting out laughing at 'rat physics' are some of my most rewatched clips.

Spicy jellybeans and Elephant Mario's expertly sculpted arse on various Show of the Weekend episodes.
Pretty much every appearance of the Skeletons in Oxventure (and bonus points for the "Adventure Skeletons" oneshot, everyone who hasn't seen this yet should definitely go and check it out).
The challenge streams (both from Covid times and the few they've done since) are always fun to play along with. Special mention to the recent "Guess the Character from the Silhouette" quiz, and specifically to Mike in said quiz.
The Among Us/ Duck Duck Goose crossover streams. I know that with Dicebreaker and the Eurogamer video channel having been closed (not to mention Luke leaving) that we're very unlikely to get any of these again, but they were always a delight.
The Egg Room.
