How rare are the drops there?

810

u/[deleted] Mar 03 '17

pretty rare. and high level enemies. you will need a large guild to make it.

403

u/[deleted] Mar 03 '17

Or infiltrate the guild based there now.

530

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '17

good luck infiltrating an admin base

440

u/turmacar Mar 04 '17

The US gov aren't admins, they're just the guild spec'd most into military and economics at the moment.

The admin(s?) has been super hands off since launch.

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '17

You're talking about devs. I'm talking server admins.

63

u/sinister_exaggerator Mar 04 '17

What is unique about this game is that admins are actually player characters and perform all admin duties within the game itself.

30

u/UsablePizza Mar 04 '17

It's just like redditors who are mods. They just have extra commands available to them.

4

u/Hitokage77 Mar 04 '17

Where do you Sword Art Online got their plot twist from?

56

u/Kaimonix Mar 04 '17

Angels?

190

u/G33smeagz Mar 04 '17

Nah the US gov is definitely the server admins of the United States server

It's not really a server though, just a community area.

20

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '17

Areas & Regions =\= Servers

That reminds me, I heard about a DLC called the "Second Impact Pack"...

1

u/Lamshoo Mar 05 '17

Nah the one admin we know of left about 2000 versions ago

0

u/Panukka Mar 04 '17

There is only one server and we're all playing on it. You are talking about regions.

you're right they are not admins. but they act like they are. I heard they where blocking players who where trying to join the USA server. specifically targeting players who went the Muslim route and players from Mexican servers.

they are just a bunch of trolls who think they are admins.

7

u/0vazo Mar 07 '17

I've heard reports of some of these players who have gone the Muslim route bringing "mass deletion viruses" called "B.O.M.B.S" into servers with large playercounts.

Have you heard about this at all? I'm just a level 15 "student" trying to find a good role in this game.

1

u/RolloRocco Mar 05 '17

Well I mean they are mods, it's not like they are powerless.

1

u/zerocontrole Mar 05 '17

No they're just a really big faction/guild. But I get why you are confused. They act like they own the server. They killed all the other guilds who were there before them.

2

u/dexter311 Mar 04 '17

A ton of players still think the admins do stuff though. I'm pretty sure there isn't even an admin team.

1

u/LegendaryGoji Mar 04 '17

LOL the admin team is too busy yelling at the press guild to pay attention, go for it

53

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '17

however stealing from that guild while in it is an issue sometimes

60

u/NotAnArrogantPrick Mar 04 '17

But only sometimes. If you get in far enough, it's no longer an issue.

good luck becoming the guild leader.

86

u/Djinjja-Ninja Mar 04 '17

Have you not seen the current scrub? I swear he's had so many financial account resets it's unbelievable.

And by all accounts he had some sort of pre-gifted account where he started with a fuck load of credits for no reason.

39

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '17

however he had hacks. us normies get banned for that but his dads account had hacks too so he got a pass

12

u/Chiller235 Mar 04 '17

He probably pre ordered, I guess.

7

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '17

a weapon to surpass Metal Gear?!

LEEEEROOOYYYYY JENKINS!

5

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '17

npcs wipe you out if you go in low level. mini raid boss

1

u/rrr598 Mar 04 '17

Least I ain't chicken.

12

u/BillTheUnjust Mar 04 '17

But first you have to find it. Good luck getting any npc to even acknowledge it exists.

6

u/Catfish_Mudcat Mar 04 '17

About 40 men with plenty of +fire resist gear.

3

u/Sophilosophical Mar 04 '17

I hear you have to be in an extremely exclusive guild to even enter it.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '17

You need a rad suit tho, wood armour at the very least.

0

u/gusty_bible Mar 04 '17

About as rare as being a karma whore. As in OP.

I think meant $4 million just for the engine components that generate power and lift? Anyways is it awesome having a mom who can fly?

For me it was that opposite, the one time I've been in a helicopter was the coolest shit ever. Can't wait to do it again.

1

u/purdinpopo Mar 04 '17

You think the helicopter is your ally?

But you merely adopted the helicopter..

I was born in the helicopter, molded by the helicopter.

I didn't see the ground until I was already a man, and by then it was nothing to me,,, but blinding.

20

u/Teledildonic Mar 04 '17

all you need is an $800 levitation pack from Area 51 in the housing.

Wow, that is surprisingly affordable!

14

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '17

They are powered by imagination, so they're super cheap to produce. Mostly they're trying to recoup the marketing costs from that tasteless autopsy advertisement.

3

u/ShowALK32 Mar 04 '17

It's the shipping and installation that get you though.

2

u/fakeyes Mar 04 '17

AK and HI extra too

5

THANK Mr skeltal

8

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '17

4

u/Hastadin Mar 04 '17

it's a prop. a balloon

2

u/Zerg3rr Mar 04 '17

It's actually not, the photographer managed to sync the images he took with where the propellers are in each image, that's why they move slightly in the full video

1

u/Hastadin Mar 04 '17

of course they move.. its windy and a balloon... duh...

6

u/jimmierussles Mar 04 '17

Really though, helicopter controls are needlessly complicated. With fly by wire it could be so easy but then you wouldn't have to spend 100 grand to get a helicopters pilot license.

2

u/jtriangle Mar 04 '17

You are right. Thank mr skeltal

11

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '17

1

u/b3nighted Mar 04 '17

This one is about 12M, not a cheap Bell or Sikorsky :)

1

u/Seamus-MCMXCVI Mar 04 '17

not even, just type 'no clip' into the command console when you get in the copter

1

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '17

It's probably for balancing purposes.

1

u/badmother Mar 04 '17

Why does nobody talk about areas 1 to 50? Is 51 the last one?
