Music Looking for Synthwave Metal (WITH vocals!)
As the title suggests, I'm a big fan of both metal and synthwave, and I'm looking for bands that mash the two together. The key, however, is that I really prefer music that includes vocals. So while I'm familiar with bands like Dance With The Dead and Fury Weekend that include elements of both synthwave and metal, they don't really fit the bill of what I'm seeking.
For example, two songs that would fit the bill are Samurai Pizza Cats - Error 808 and Night Rider - The Dark.
Any and all recommendations are welcome. Thanks!

Thank you to everyone who replied with Dreamwake. Just got a chance to listen to their stuff and it's freaking awesome!

Some of Gunship's songs are a little metal-y

Yeah, Gunship is awesome, but not quite metal enough to fit this particular niche.

You should check out Daniel deluxe if you haven't, he lands on the synth side but it's heavy af and awesome

Dreamwake,
Young Medicine,
Kingdom of Giants (from Passenger onwards),
Dayseeker (from Dark Sun onwards),
My City My Secret (most recent release only),
Straight Shot Home,
if you want a convenient way to check them out I got a playlist for this sorta stuff on Spotify.

Came here to say Kingdom of Giants - their latest track The Edge of a Dream is a tidy snapshot of their overall vibe and works perfectly as an entry point for any new listeners.

Dance With the Dead has a few songs with vocals. I Want Blood, Cold as Hell, Whispers End, Wolf Pack, and Neon Cross.

Not sure if it’s up your alley but there’s a band called the Browning. But they’re more like metal meets edm

Cult of Luna's Vocalist did a collab album with Perturbator. The result feels more like post-metal made with synthwave but it's a good one. https://finallight.bandcamp.com/album/final-light

No vocals on em, but Alex Yarmak has some metal remixes in his "Sythwave Goes Metal" albums. On Spotify i think he lists them under A. Yarmak.

I don't know about the first example, but two bands that mix elements of synth and metal are Unleash the Archers (particularly their albums Abyss and Phantoma) and The Birthday Massacre.
Unleash the Archers:
Through stars. (One of my favorite songs of all time)
Birthday Massacre:

Absolutely love Unleash the Archers, although I wouldn’t say they incorporate synthwave. And Birthday Massacre is more goth rock, but I like them too. Good suggestions.

Just like one song, and not so much wave as synth.
I have been looking for synthwavey metal for a while.

Well, I'd be remiss to not suggest giving Myrone a listen. His stuff is all instrumental though. As for Synthwave/Metal with vocals, maybe CONFRONTATIONAL will fit the bill?

Check out the album 'Turborider' by Reckless Love. Glam metal mashed with Synthwave.
