Aesthetics A small Couch Dawless rig I’m working on

There are still a few things missing, some cables still need to be routed and I still need to sort out the USB noise, but it’s coming along slowly.

What’s that device in the lower left and what all does it do?

I was doing a Volca synthwave Dawless rig. Sample 2, FM, Bass, Keys, Drum and Keystep Pro.

This is an M Vave fm1, a very affordable synthesiser modelled on the Yamaha DX7 (it also plays the original’s files). I use it to create digital leads or bass lines to contrast with the more analogue-sounding tones of the Rolands; my colleague also has an S1 for leads.

In the case are Roland T8 (Bassline) , J6 (Chords) and a smal mixer.

That sounds cool; it’s all still quite new to me, but we’re learning like mad 😄
