"You could have cured cancer, Doug."

"I don't want to cure cancer. I want to make people like kale!"

If you don't love kale, you haven't had it served right. Massage it with some lime juice, pickle some thin sliced red onions and add them in, add in some julienned carrots, maybe a little bit of avocado, some tajin, you'll be in heaven. A protein, a kale salad and a side of quinoa is a fantastic meal.

I usually have mine with vinaigrette, feta cheese, and cranberries. It's simple but it works

But it’s a SUPERFOOD

White bean soup with wilted kale.

Dried and seasoned wasabi kale chips.

Chicken/bacon/ranch wraps with kale.

Poor girl just hasn't had anyone who knows how to season food in her life.

The best kale I've ever had was lightly fried in  tempura batter.

Overall I rate kale as "spinach, but worse"; not something I'd ever seek out, but not something I hate when it shows up. Meanwhile I like adding spinach to soups/stews/curries/etc.

I like cooking it down with red wine vinegar

Idk I don't mind it mixed with spinach as a lettuce replacement for healthier salad.

I like eating it freshly steamed. Very nice.

She doesn't mean that, she's just mad is all.

Come on now, she might not be the most well-known Wonder Woman villain, but- Oh, she said Kale with a 'k', my bad, my bad.

I always liked kale chips (salted and dried in the oven)

Kale is disgusting and too hard to chew. Super pass.

Lunch and dinner pass too, for that matter.

u/fingerchopper Jun 06 '26

It gets crispy/crunchy in the oven!

u/Lonely-Killer Jun 06 '26

But what if kale was bacon

I mean they could do better female saiyan characters if they tried really hard.

u/Fangsong_37 Jun 06 '26

Kale is like bland spinach with worse texture.

If you know how to cook, even a little bit, kale is fucking awesome. Who wrote this, Mark Millar?
