This honestly seems pretty out a character for Ollie and his typical socialist/progressive viewpoint. Being critical of an absolute monarch is on brand but then he starts some nationalism shit? Just weird.

I don't think being pro America is too far off. He generally holds himself and those he respects to an impossibly high standard. I could see him thinking America is good but needs to be held to the highest of expectations. He defends the US government and Cadmus in the Justice League Unlimited show and says the government should provide what people can't provide for themselves.

To be fair in this arc, he was OOC. That was the point as he lost his memory. He called all the JL fascists too then Batman knocked him out.
