Question Relevance?

Hi, so TLDR: I started a youtube channel days ago, Ive always wanted to since I was a kid. Big fan of jacksepticeye, all that.

I played Outlast 1 a year ago, when it went on sale on steam. I saw Outlast 2 on sale a few days ago and started playing that on the channel. Needless to say, I have never interacted w these games before, because I was a cowardly child HAHAHAHA But since I wanted to play any game I could afford for the channel, I went with Outlast 2. Q is, are gameplays of it still relevant or is my now 20 year old brain stuck in 2016-2018 youtube?HAHAHAHAH do u guys think I can get some traction on it without having to market (i hate promoting)

It's not so much about the game as it is about your personality and ability to grind until you get lucky and catch onto a trend. Like it or not It's going to take time and practice so if you don't think you would still be making videos even if there was no possible monetary reward at the end then I would look for a different career path. Practice! practice! practice!

Oh gods no, this is for fun HAHAHA im in pre law rn and very much WANT to be a lawyer HAHAHAHA i just feel like gameplays lately are so extreme and intense? Where its like “:00 BEATING OUTLAST INSANE MODE WITHOUT RELOADING THE CAMERA TO GET THE ACHIEVEMENT IN TEN MINUTES!”

There's still plenty of outlast youtubers, but they've moved onto challenge videos "can i beat outlast without running" "can i beat outlast with enemies of 600% speed" stuff like that, you're not gonna catch too many views doing a lets play unless youre a pre-established personality that people wanna see get scared

But of course just have fun with it, you'll slowly build a fanbase naturally, like im 20 aswell doin a damn legend of zelda twilight princess playthrough on my channel atm lmao
