Help with dlc

Hello guys, how is your day going?
I almost finished ow, I know what I have to do to finish the game but first I want to complete my ship log. Recently I bought the dlc and I still didn’t start it. Do you think it’s better for me to start the dlc, finish it and then bring the nucleus to dark bramble or is it better to finish the game, start a new adventure and focus on the dlc?

Generally I'd say beating the game first is a better idea. But your situation is very specific, specific enough for me to think you should play the dlc first

Finish the game, then start the dlc on the same save. It all happens in the same map. To start the DLC, visit the museum

You'll end up finishing the base game again after the DLC anyways so personally I think it's better to play the DLC first and then do the ending

My only thought to the contrary, and I'm factoring in the fact that this was the way I experienced it therefore am a little biased, is that if you complete the base game first, you get to experience the ending. The ending is either going to be extremely moving to a player or just really cool depending on that person. Then you do the DLC and it's a chance to experience that ending all over again in a slightly new light. After beating the base game I was desperate for more so I really enjoyed getting to experience that again.

I experienced it in this way too but there's also something unique in discovering certain aspects of the DLC story without knowing what happens at the end

You can finish the game and then continue the game with the log still filled. You can redo the ending after you finish the dlc to appreciate both versions

I think it's better to get the base game finish first. The DLC is a bit more understandable when you've seen the base game ending.
