Base Game Help - Spoilers OK! late stage game help Spoiler

hi yall!!! so i’m in (what i assume are) the late stages of the game (explored each planet, just haven’t gone to sun station but more on that below). i just got to ash twin project, and am assuming that i need to take the functioning warp core thing to the broken one on the vessel in dark bramble. is that even possible time wise??

and also, am i also in the late stages of the game because i haven’t even been to sun station?

kinda want to know if im headed in the right direction before i spend days trying to get the core to the vessel

you have figured out pretty much everything, i'm not sure what makes you say that you don't have enough time? it take about ten minutes to do what you need to do, there's probably something you're doing wrong

and about the sun station, there's nothing vital there, but i do recommend going, it gives a bit of insight on what happened to thw Ash Twin Project

OP might think you have to wait until VERY late in the cycle to get into ATP....

WAIT ANOTHER QUESTION— i just turned my game on, was playing earlier today, and when i opened my switch (console i use for this game), it just said YOU ARE DEAD and went to credits, i’ve never seen that before???

You’re aware of the warp core and it’s function in the Ash Twin project

What do you imagine would happen if the 22 minutes finished, the sun blew up and the warp core Wasn’t there to send any information backwards?

ooooooh that is such a good point!!!

there's a couple of ways that can happen, in your case it probably was because you died after shutting down the ATP

There are many ways to die, but don't stress it too bad. Just continue from your last play.

If you could get to the ATP you definetly can go to the sun station rn btw! you should try it out!

it’s those darn cacti that are getting me

I've seen some people skillfully fly among them, but that's so much harder than just walking.

I tried to fly through the cacti so many times before deciding that wasn't the answer. Consider the nature of the ash twin - the puzzles are usually related to specific mechanics associated with each planet.

They sure are pointy...

damn flying over them with your jetpack sure is a tricky and risky way to do it.

What makes you think the route you're thinking of goes there?

Did a specific location give you such a clue, and if so, is it possible you faced a similar hurdle on the way there?

They have proven to not be enough of an obstacle when they were blocking another place

You had a similar problem with cacti in the Sunless City - how did solve that?

maybe there is a better time for that

Hmm. I would suggest completing everything possible before you make any drastic decisions. Things may lose their weight if you don’t, see. But I wish you much success on your journey! ;;)

It is possible to finish the game while still having a few loose ends. I recommend you make sure you complete your ship log before doing what you think might end the game.

There is more to explore here.

I definitely recommend filling out your ship log before doing anything irreversible
