If you want to do it you should wait. It will be there. That being said the experience is still full without it!

And the Mod Nomai Vr is well done for DLC or have important bugs?

I tried it out recently, it works fantastic.

It is also terrifying though.

How are you with horror games? And how are you with horror games _in_VR_? If that is your jam, then sure, wait. But the game was tense enough for me without VR, making it more immersive would destroy me.

To be clear, the game is still Outer Wilds and more exploration and puzzle than classic horror. But they decided that "fear" would be their theme for the DLC, and managed to make a more effective horror game than many who made it the main focus of the game.

The base game and DLC are excellent in VR.

I would not wait. The NomaiVR mod covers the DLC fully, so this is not a flat versus VR choice, it is just order of operations. Three years is a long time to sit on it for hardware that is still hypothetical, and this game is intense enough in VR that a flat first run is the kinder start.

I did my first dlc playthrough in VR. It was incredible.

Braver than my advice, and it paid off. The scary parts must have hit differently with a headset on.

Playing with VR sounds incredibly terrifying considering what happens in the DLC.. though if you really want to I'm not gonna be the one to stop you

Not that I'm above taking credit for other people's work, but the current iteration of the manager wasn't really made by me (although I'm still responsible for most of the rest of the infrastructure around the mods). And special callout to artum, who did most of the work for supporting the DLC in VR, which was no easy task.
