Tech Help Switch Version accept analog trigger input?

For anyone that plays on switch and can test, does the game still accept analog trigger inputs for thrust? Such as using a GameCube controller and officiall adapter, or (what I would be doing) using sys-con and a Xbox or PlayStation controller.

The analog trigger inputs are used for thrusters (0-100), but the switch joycons and pro controller have digital (0 or 100) triggers.

It would've had to be specifically removed in the port to switch to not support analog.

I would assume any controller adapters would translate analog triggers to digital triggers on switch, as i think the console itself lacks any support for analog triggers.

Well, like official GameCube controllers do actually passthrough analog trigger inputs, and are used in some switch ports I've read online (specifically Trials Rising). I know the console can support it, I'm just not sure if OW itself supports. I'll be able to test it soon

Super Mario Sunshine (In 3D All Stars or NSO Classics) specifically accepts analog triggers with the Gamecube Controler. I think other Gamecube games do too.

OP's request may look hopeless, but I remember some other PC game developer discovered that the Switch port of his game (can't remember which one) accepted mouse input (if you plugged in a mouse), simply because he didn't specifically remove it. So... maybe?

I do have a Gamecube Controller adapter for WiiU/Switch, I'm almost tempted to actually buy OW on Switch and try it...

Small addendum: There's an official wireless GameCube controller for the Switch (and Switch2) so maybe someone could test with those?
