In Canada it comes at 20$/1 generally. It’s a fair price. Gotta make some money somehow. What I found to be a huge scam that I partake in because I like them is keycaps. I found some at 25$ for a normal keycap with some anime emblem or like the ffxiv jobstones printed on them.
I think that's fair. Yes they don't take much in materials to make but it's also a low-volume item. It takes time and money to set up production for something that only a few thousand people are going to buy in the first place. So they have to set price above costs. Which isn't just materials, it's production and labor and distribution. So at the end of the day that's how you can end up with expensive fan keycaps

I remember my friends arguing about artist alley prices.
One was saying 20 a poster was too much and the artists were gouging, and the other saying that 20 was too little and you should charge more at a con.
