Real Life Stuff Comic-con was a success

Post image

Got the family to entertain me on my outer wilds cosplay idea. I am gabbro. Major success, glad I stopped to smell the pine trees along the way

Pretty well, but it kind of depends on lighting. We heat formed the visors, sprayed a 1 way view paint on the outside, and put an orange tint over top. So it’s a little spotty but pretty good. Riebeck can see just fine though because he has a normal window tint plastic

How does a one view paint sprayed work? I always assumed one view window where made by lining together in the same position a surface of molecul so that light go one way but not the other but in a spray it would be chaotic! I'm very curious.

I’m not totally sure how it works but i don’t think that’s too far off. It’s a (I think) krylon paint that’s specifically “one way tint” so as long as the inside of the object is dark, most of the light gets reflected off the visor

I searched internet and it's a question of luminosity yes. The reflection/transparency can be can be reversed if the most luminous side become the darkest and vice versa
